Garbage
Each residence was issued a large garbage container, so everyone should have one. Garbage pickup is scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays January 1, 2024.. We encourage everyone to place their garbage container curbside the night before scheduled pickup days. All garbage must be placed in garbage bags and container must be placed curbside as instructed on the container.

Collection of white goods and bulky items at roadside for Livonia is the first full week and third week of each month. For more information contact the Pointe Coupee Parish Government at 638-1021,  www.pcparish.org,  or you can view under Pulbic Notices.

For hard to dispose of items, the Town of Livonia has a dumpster available to Livonia residents only, located on Bouquet Street. The hours of operation are Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. You must show your dumpster pass in order to dispose of trash.

You can also reduce the mosquito population by:
