POINTE COUPEE PARISH MOSQUITO CONTROL

Our updated website allows residents to submit mosquito service requests directly to the parish contractor. Just scroll down the homepage at www.pcparish.org and click on the mosquito control button.

You can also reduce the mosquito population by:

• Draining anything that might collect water.
• Keeping your lawn mowed to reduce resting sites.
• Filling in any low spots in your yard that might hold water.
• Flushing bird baths at least once a week.
• Removing vegetation and debris from ditches.
• Keeping pools clean and in operating condition.
• Cleaning ponds and stocking with minnows.

The Town of Livonia is included in Pointe Coupee Parish Government's contract with an outside waste management company for solid waste collection and recycling. Everyone within the community is required to have garbage collection. A recycling dumpster is located at Livonia Town Hall for those who wish to recycle.
